Welcome to ADAS
ateljéteater, at Konstepidemin “Epidemic of Art”,
Gothenburg, Sweden.
ADAS was
founded 1993 and is a space for artist working in performance and theatre
who want to take their artistic needs as a starting – point in their work.
Artistic leader is from the beginning actress/playwright/director Fia Adler
Sandblad, member of the Swedish Union for Theatre, Artists and Media, and
the Swedish playwright’s Union.
Since 2002 we
have collaboration with director Sören Larsson and Larssons lab, and since
2004 with performer/choreographer Annika B Lewis and Kassandra Production in
Aarhus, Denmark.
The season 2005
– 2006 we work with two performances, both on ADAS and on tour. The first
one is based on a short story by CHEKHOV. It was developed after an
exploration how far we could go in a straight work on Chekov’s words.
Performed by Fia Adler Sandblad under the direction of Sören Larsson. The
second one is a result of our interest in working on the Fundamentals for
actors. The name of the performance is Life Is Fabulous!
